ASUS product warranty
The ASUS warranty is a limited warranty* and applies to products purchased new from an official ASUS dealer for personal, non‑professional use. Warranty benefits can be claimed provided that the product malfunction is caused by a manufacturing defect, subject to compliance with the operating instructions set out in the User Manual, and within the warranty period.
ASUS warranty obligations cover only the original equipment configuration. Any components repaired or replaced by an ASUS service centre will be warranted for the remaining overall product warranty period or at least 3 months from the date of replacement. All defective parts replaced with new ones during repair automatically become the property of ASUS.
Submitting a device to an ASUS service centre during the warranty period does not guarantee free repair. Upon receipt, the ASUS service centre reserves the right to verify the validity of the warranty.
Important! The production date is determined by the device serial number. The first character of the serial number indicates the year of manufacture (1‑9 = 2001‑2009, A = 2010, B = 2011, C = 2012, D = 2013, E = 2014, F = 2015, G = 2016, H = 2017, J = 2018, K = 2019, L = 2020, M = 2021); the second character indicates the month of manufacture (1‑9 = January‑September, A = October, B = November, C = December).
Local warranty – warranty valid within the country where the product was purchased.
Global warranty – warranty valid worldwide at any authorised ASUS service centre.

Important! To avoid mechanical, thermal, and electrical damage to your portable computer, we recommend regular maintenance (cleaning the cooling system) at an authorised ASUS service centre, at least once a year depending on operating conditions. Failure of portable computer components due to contamination (dust) of the cooling system is not a warranty case and must be repaired at the user's expense. Regular maintenance will help maintain high performance and extend the actual service life of the equipment. Before visiting the service centre, back up any important information stored on your device. Neither ASUS nor the authorised service centre is liable for any loss, damage, etc., related to the loss of data on storage and recording devices, including data loss during the repair process. ASUS sincerely apologises that it cannot guarantee data integrity during repairs.
Limited ASUS warranty* – manufacturer's warranty obligations that are provided only if the conditions (limitations) set forth in the warranty card and the warranty policies on the official ASUS website are met.
